I think Billy fits best with a team that passes the ball more than it runs, when they do run, uses schemes that get its linemen to the second level or moving in space to block defenders. He would also fit well in an offense that uses a good amount of play action. Some teams that could be good fits for him are the Texans, Browns, and Rams.
NFL Player Comp: Jonah Jackson
Billy Schrauth projects similarly to Jonah Jackson, as he is a technical lineman with good mobility, strong hands, and reliable pass protection. Like Jackson, he isn’t necessarily an elite run blocker, but he provides consistency and stability on the interior of the offensive line.
Projection: League Average Starter
I think he has the potential to be a great pass blocker, and if his run blocking continues to develop and he stays healthy, he could become a great player and eventually a Pro Bowler.
