Centennial Scouting Report
Centennial enters the quarterfinals at 6–5 and arrives with confidence after winning three straight road games. The Cougars opened their postseason with a strong showing against Station Camp and followed that with a 38–19 victory over Memphis Central. Their offense can score quickly, and once they find a rhythm, they can put points on the board in a hurry.

Quarterback Mitchell Grandjean is the focal point of the scouting report. He threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns last week and has now recorded at least three passing touchdowns in four straight games. He also rushed for 63 yards, which gives Centennial a true dual-threat quarterback who extends plays and stresses a defense from sideline to sideline.

The Cougars also posted a season-best 257 rushing yards in their win over Memphis Central. For Henry County, the key will be controlling the line of scrimmage, winning early downs, and forcing Centennial into predictable passing situations.

Something Has To Give
Henry County has won five straight at home. Centennial has won three straight on the road. One of those streaks ends Friday night.

This is the first meeting between the two programs since November 2016, when Centennial earned a 21–0 victory. The stage is different now, and the rematch runs through Paris with a very different feel. Henry County enters with momentum on both sides of the ball, while Centennial brings confidence and belief from two impressive playoff wins.

The Patriots return to Rebel Stadium on Friday night to host Centennial in the Class 5A quarterfinals. It is a heavyweight matchup with everything on the line. Henry County will need the same blend of explosive offense, physical defense, and disciplined execution to take the next step toward Chattanooga.

This group looks built for the moment. The community is behind them, the players are locked in, and the Patriots are playing with purpose. Everything now comes down to the next 48 minutes under the Friday night lights.

The Patriots will be ready.
