While still extremely raw from a technical and athletic coordination standpoint, his physical profile alone places him among the more intriguing early-cycle offensive line prospects in the 2028 class.

TydeRogers
At this stage, Rogers is heavily reliant on size and natural frame advantages rather than refined movement skills. As his coordination, footwork, and overall athletic timing continue to develop, his long-term ceiling will become much clearer. The foundation is present for a potential high-level college offensive tackle, but his development curve will be the determining factor.
Strengths
- Elite size and length for the offensive tackle position
- Strong natural knee bend and ability to play with leverage
- Flexible hips and promising structural athletic frame
- Large hands with natural reach advantage
- Plays with generally consistent effort level
- Shows ability to stay balanced when engaged in contact
- High developmental upside due to physical traits
Areas for Development
- Improve overall foot speed and lateral quickness
- Develop pass protection kick slide and set consistency
- Increase functional strength and hand control inside
- Improve coordination between size and movement timing
- Refine technical discipline and eliminate costly penalties
Evaluation
Rogers’ film is defined by physical projection more than present-day polish. He shows flashes of solid knee bend and leverage, which is notable for a player of his size and age, but his overall movement skills lag behind his physical frame. His foot speed and lateral movement are currently limited, particularly when asked to operate in space or adjust to quicker defensive movement.
In pass protection situations, Rogers is heavily dependent on his size to absorb contact. While defenders struggle to simply run through him, his lack of refined kick slide and lateral recovery ability creates developmental concerns against higher-level speed rushers. At this stage, he does not consistently demonstrate the ability to redirect or recover once beaten off the edge.
In the run game, he shows more comfort operating within simple assignments, particularly when asked to use his size and length to seal or wall off defenders. His ability to generate movement is more functional than dominant, but the physical tools are clearly present for growth with proper development.
One of the more encouraging traits is his natural leverage ability. Despite his size, he shows the ability to sink his hips and play with bend, which is a foundational trait that can be built upon at the next level. His hands are large and effective in reach, but he must improve his ability to consistently latch and control defenders inside.
Overall, Rogers is a highly intriguing long-term offensive tackle prospect whose value is rooted in projection. He is not yet a refined offensive lineman, but the physical tools are rare and provide a legitimate developmental pathway if properly coached.
Projection
Rogers projects as a high-upside developmental offensive tackle with FBS potential. His ceiling will be determined by how his athleticism and coordination catch up to his frame over the next several years. If development trends upward, he has the physical profile to become a Power Four-caliber starter. At minimum, he represents a strong long-term college prospect with significant upside.
