For Jeremiah Dickerson, basketball has always been more than a game; it’s been a calling. As the Founder and CEO of Team Global Select, he’s built more than a travel program; he’s built a movement focused on discipline, integrity, and giving back to the next generation of athletes.
What started as a simple idea, helping young athletes reach their full potential, has evolved into a well-structured organization that develops players both athletically and personally. Jeremiah’s mission is clear: teach the game the right way and help young athletes build skills and character that last a lifetime.
Laying the Foundation
Jeremiah’s entrepreneurial mindset kicked in early. While still playing collegiate basketball at Greensboro College, he began putting pen to paper on what would eventually become Team Global Select. Between 2020 and 2025, he created a business plan detailing everything from logistics to long-term vision. He knew that success wouldn’t come from shortcuts. Instead, it would come from structure, intention, and relentless belief in his purpose.
A Coach Who Leads by Example
Jeremiah’s approach to coaching is grounded in authenticity and connection. His goal isn’t just to teach basketball mechanics; it’s to teach mindset. He challenges players to understand why they do what they do, not just how.
In every practice and huddle, Jeremiah leads by example. He emphasizes clear communication, accountability, and staying calm under pressure. Players who come through his program not only improve their skills but also learn what it means to lead with humility and purpose.
That leadership philosophy extends to his entire program. From organizing tournaments to mentoring assistant coaches, Jeremiah operates with the same standard he expects from his athletes: show up, work hard, and embrace their God given gifts.
