Professional Biography
Dr. Wally T. Luckeydoo is an educator and sports business professional who believes strongly in experiential learning and real-world application. He teaches Work-Based Learning and Personal Finance at Smyrna High School, where he prepares students with practical, career-ready skills through hands-on experiences. At the collegiate level, he teaches Sports Management courses at Abilene Christian University and Cumberland University, and Dual Enrollment Personal Finance at Bethel University, helping to bridge the gap between secondary and postsecondary education.
Dr. Luckeydoo brings a diverse professional background in sports, including experience with the Marshall University Ticket Office, the Princeton Rays, a minor league affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, and an indoor football league team. As a member of the Nashville Sports Council, he remains actively engaged in the industry. His work reflects a dedication to preparing students for success beyond the classroom.
