She has done a fantastic job leading me through all four years of school, and her background of marketing is top tier.
Dr. Nicholas Zoroya at Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Z. Last semester. He provides real world experience to the class room. I would recommend anyone in the Sport Management program at Wayne to take his classes. You won’t regret it.
Dr. Bo Li at Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas. I had him as a graduate advisor and he shaped my path as a student in sport as well ans outside of school. His knowledge in sport and willingness to help his students is shown often, from publications with students to accolades in sport sales with the sport management club at Miami university. He is the perfect example of what an advisor and professor should be.
Professor Luke Beach, Rochester Christian University. From my experience through many classes with Professor Beach, he has shown me what is it like to be successful but also put the lives of those you care about first. His love and passion he has for teaching students at RCU about sports management and growing as a person is remarkable. He has truly changed my life for the better and has shown me what it is like to be successful in the field I am working to be in. He is more than a professor, he is a mentor and a friend that I can talk to throughout my life. I know many, many other students at RCU think that as well. I will forever be grateful for the time I spent with Professor Beach, and he is more than deserving of this award.
Professor Luke Beach has had an incredible impact on my life—not just academically, but in athletics, my career path, and personal growth. His mentorship pushed me to become a better, more confident version of myself.
I had the privilege of being his student in the Sport Management program at Rochester Christian University, where I gained invaluable insight into the sports industry and how to navigate a career within it. Beyond the knowledge, he created an environment that made learning genuinely enjoyable and engaging.
Today, as an Inside Sales Representative with Ilitch Sports and Entertainment working with the Tigers and Red Wings, I can confidently say I would not be where I am without Professor Beach’s guidance and support. There is truly no one more deserving of recognition.
Professor Luke Beach at Rochester Christian University exceeded professor expectations and truly raised the bar. I transferred to RCU before my junior year and had to choose a major. I ended up choosing sports management on a whim, and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Professor Beach helped me realize what I was good at and taught me more than I could imagine. He is one of the biggest reasons I decided to pursue my master’s in sport leadership. He offered a listening ear, support, and encouraged me to be the best I can be. Meeting Professor Beach and being taught by him made a long-lasting impact on me.
He truly cares about his job and works to know his students on a personal level. With his experience as an athletic director, he understood the potential struggles of student athletes and did whatever he could to help. Everyone and anyone could go to him with anything and he was ready to listen and support.
Now working with the Detroit Tigers and Motor City Cruise, and pursuing my master’s, I know I wouldn’t be where I am without Professor Beach’s help and guidance. He is beyond deserving of this award as he has changed my life and the lives of many other students.
Professor Beach at Rochester Christian University is one of the most caring professors I have ever met. During my time in school he was a great mentor and leader who I would spend time with after class just to learn more from. Post Graduation I have the honor of continuing to grow with his guidance and mentorship. He has allowed me to come back and speak to multiple classes of his and continues to check in to see how life is going. The fact that he is a Professor who goes above and beyond outside of the classroom means the world to me and I believe we need more professors who are just like him. Thank you Professor Beach for everything you have done for me.
